AI-teach brings together educators, researchers, and learning designers from across Europe who share a commitment to meaningful and inclusive learning. We developed this course to help educators approach artificial intelligence with both curiosity and care, using relatable examples and practical questions as starting points for exploration. Our goal is to support the development of pedagogically sound AI competence while encouraging critical reflection on the opportunities, challenges, and implications of AI in education.
The people behind the course
The people behind this course are dedicated professionals who care deeply about creating opportunities for learning and growth. Throughout the development process, we have sought to consider the diverse backgrounds of our learners and the different contexts in which they may encounter this course. Some may engage with the material as independent learners, while others may experience it as part of a teacher education program within a higher education institution.
Designed for diverse learners
We also recognize that learners bring varying levels of experience with AI and have access to different tools and technologies. To accommodate this diversity, we have aimed to create flexible, accessible content and to use examples that are inclusive, relevant, and representative of different educational contexts.
Developed together
The course was developed through cross-institutional and international collaboration, allowing us to draw on a rich range of expertise, perspectives, and cultural experiences. To ensure both relevance and quality, the materials have been piloted and refined with pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, and teacher educators.
We hope you enjoy the course and, above all, feel empowered to explore, question, and thoughtfully integrate AI into your educational practice.
